The birth of Bonob
The first Bonob was designed for Lucas, Jean-Philippe's son. A cycling enthusiast, he couldn't find any product that was truly suited to his little boy's body type and learning pace. Too heavy, too high, too rigid. In short, not suitable.
So he decided to start from scratch : observing the child, understanding his movements, respecting his development. This reflection gave rise to Bonob 1TO3 : an evolutive bike designed not as a “toy,” but as a real learning tool.

When he presented his invention to Patrick, they decided that it should be shared with all parents who already dream of long family bike rides.
Ergonomic bikes, also for children

At Bonob, ergonomics is the starting point. Every aspect of the bike (saddle height, frame geometry, handlebar position, weight) is designed based on the actual morphology of the child and their motor skills at each stage.
