The evolutive 3-in-1 kids bike
Bonob accompanies children through every stage of their learning process, always on the same bike. Each step forward is taken at the right time, based on their abilities, not their age. The bike adapts to the child, not the other way around.
Stage 1 : the tricycle
The trigger : moving forward on your own by pushing with your little feet.
Stage 2 : the balance bike
The balance : the magic happens, he gains confidence and finds his balance.
Stage 3 : the pedal bike
The pedals : riding, really and also being able to stop !
The birth of
Bonob
Bonob was born from a simple idea: to create a bike that is truly suited to children and grows with them.
In Jean-Philippe's workshop, where custom-made bikes for adults have been created for the past 10 years, the first bike was designed and built for his son, Lucas.
Watching him progress from three wheels to two, it became clear : what if the bike could finally be adapted to the child—to their size, their pace, their progress ?
A first prototype. Then another.
A bike that evolves, step by step.
Learning becomes natural, obvious.
What had been designed for Lucas deserved to exist for all children.
That's how Bonob was born.
