The website https://www.bonob.bike (and all related websites) is operated by Bonob SRL, with registered office at Avenue Pasteur 6H, 1300 Wavre, Belgique, registered at the BCE under number BE1016.591.078.

2. Scope of application

 

These general terms and conditions govern the sale of products offered on Bonob's online store, currently accessible at the following address https://www.bonob.bike. They apply to the exclusion of all other conditions, in particular those applicable to sales in stores or via other distribution channels.

By placing an order on the website, the customer unreservedly accepts the present terms and conditions.

Orders may only be placed by natural persons aged 18 or over who are legally competent at the time the order is placed.

3. Products

 

Bonob sells children's bicycles and accessories (tires, etc.). Other accessories (bells, helmets, lights, etc.) may be added to the catalog.

The descriptions, photographs and information available on the site are as accurate as possible. However, they are not contractual and do not bind our company in any way.

4. Orders

 

Orders are placed exclusively via the website. The customer selects the products they wish to purchase, adds them to their basket and validates their order after checking the information.

Bonob's acceptance of the order is effected either by a separate order confirmation or by actual delivery. Bonob may refuse to accept an order without giving reasons, in particular if the item ordered is not in stock.

Payment of the order is required in full at the time of validation.

5. Prices and payment

 

Prices on the website are quoted in euros and include VAT. Delivery charges are added at the time of ordering according to the country of delivery (see article 6) and are clearly notified to the customer when the order is placed.

Payment methods accepted are those offered via the website's payment platform.

6. Delivery

Shipping costs :

• Belgium : 15 €

• The Netherlands, Luxembourg, France : 20 €

Timing :

• Pré-orders : estimated delivery early 4ᵉ quarter 2025.

• Available stock : dispatch within 2 to 3 working days in Belgium after order validation and 4 to 5 working days for Luxembourg, Holland and France after order validation. These times are indicative.

Bonob SRL reserves the right to modify delivery times without prior notice. The choice of the most suitable carrier is left to our discretion.

7. Right of withdrawal and returns

 

In accordance with European directive 2011/83/EU, the customer has a period of fourteen (14) days from receipt of the product to exercise his right of withdrawal without having to give any reason.

The customer may return the product at his own expense and responsibility, provided it is in perfect condition, unused and in its original packaging, within fourteen (14) days of the return request.

To exercise his right of withdrawal, the customer must notify returns by e-mail to : info@bonob.be

Customized products (e.g. engraving, unique configuration) are non-refundable.

8. Reservation of ownership

 

Bonob reserves ownership of the goods until full payment has been received.

9. Warranty and after-sales service

 

In accordance with European law (Directive 1999/44/EC transposed into Belgian law), all products are covered by a 2-year legal guarantee of conformity from the date of purchase, in the event of material or manufacturing defects.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by improper use.

The warranty is valid on presentation of the purchase invoice.

10. Personal data

 

Personal data collected on the website is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - EU 2016/679).

The website uses analysis tools (WIX Analytics) to improve the user experience. Subscription to the newsletter is on a voluntary basis. The customer may unsubscribe at any time.

11. Liability

 

Bonob SRL cannot be held responsible for non-performance of the contract in the event of force majeure, disruption or total or partial strike of postal services and means of transport, or natural disasters.

We decline all responsibility for loss or destruction of the product from the moment the risk is transferred to you at the time of delivery.

Bonob SRL's liability is limited to the amount of the order.

12. Applicable law and disputes

 

These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law.

In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will first be sought. Failing this, the courts of the judicial district of Bonob SRL's registered office shall have sole jurisdiction.
